WordPress developer needed to help launch the Murmurations Wordpress Aggregator Plugin. Background: We have almost finished v2 of the Murmurations Node plugin for Wordpress, which makes it super simple for Wordpress owners to register sites with Murmurations. And we have also developed a Murmurations Wordpress Aggregator plugin, which queries the Index, collects profile data, converts this to Wordpress content and presents the data on custom maps and directories, which can also incorporate highly specific filters based on the data being aggregated. At the moment the aggregator plugin is in early beta and, although it works, it requires further development (or rather, simplifying and striping down) to be ready for launch. Ultimately we see this as one of the most valuable tools within the Murmurations toolset because, given enough data in the Index, there is no end to the amount, and different types, of aggregators which could be developed. If you are interested in collaborating on this, or any other aspects of Murmurations, we’d be very happy to chat. We don’t have any development funds right now but are applying for grants and also have a few ideas about freemium tools which may generate some income.
